Your questions, our straight answers
Do my clients have to pay?
No. You invite your clients for free: they get a personal space to upload their documents. Only the firm’s plans are paid.
Who can see my documents?
The firm’s owner sees all folders. With the Team plan, each colleague only opens the folders and clients entrusted to them. A client only sees their own space. Accesses are recorded in a log, and share links are time-limited and revocable.
What happens if I stop paying or exceed my storage?
Nothing is deleted. You get a 14-day grace period during which everything keeps working. After that, the firm becomes read and download only until the situation is sorted out.
Can I change plan whenever I want?
Yes, online, from “Plan and billing”. An upgrade applies right away, prorated; a downgrade takes effect at the end of the paid period. No refund is issued automatically. Online payment will be switched on when paid subscriptions open.
Is CoFiles limited to one profession?
No. CoFiles is for any professional who receives documents from clients: accounting, law, notary services, financial planning, brokerage, immigration and other services. The profession pack you pick when creating your firm pre-fills the case types and document lists.
Can I get back or delete my data?
You can download your files, a whole folder as a ZIP, and the access log as CSV. Full account export and self-service deletion are in the works.
Where is my data hosted?
We choose providers that offer adequate safeguards; the hosting location is specified on request. Write to us at confidentialite@dossilia.com before signing up if this matters to your firm.
